Number of Cabins: 9
Languages spoken by staff: Thai, limited English. There are often times at Nest 2 when very little English is spoken. "Oh" who speaks good English is also the Head Chef, and is often busy in the kitchen. Please be patient and she will help you with any issues.
Check-In time: 14.00pm - 21.00pm (Please contact us if you think you may arrive after 21.00pm. It may be possible to check-in later if you arriving with transport that we have arranged.)
Check-Out time: 12.00pm (midday)
It is sometimes possible to arrange a late check out. For a late check out to 18:00pm there is a half day charge. For late check out after 18:00pm, we charge for a full night. (Late check out is only possible if the cabins are not fully booked)
Payment options: Cash (Thai Baht and other major currencies*), Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard and Amex - we no longer charge any fee for credit card payments)
* We can also take most major foreign currencies if necessary. Please ask us for the current rate.
(If you want to calculate it yourself please see the Foreign Exchange rates on the Bangkok Bank website - we take 1% off (i.e. multiply by 0.99) the Bank Note Buying Rates. For US Dollar we use the USD1 Bank Note Buying Rates)
Resort Facilities
Car Park - Usually enough spaces for all our guests to have off road parking.
Children's High Chair - For use at the dining tables.
Children's Cot - Available free of charge. Please request in advance.
Daily Cabin Cleaning - (unless guests request us not to)
Family Cabin - 2 Bedroom / Family Deluxe Suites - can comfortably sleep a family of four
Fax / Photocopying / Printer - Sometimes possible but normally requires a few hours advance notice. If not possible we will direct you to somewhere in Chiang Dao that can help.
Fireplace - In the cool season we usually have a small supply of firewood. Please keep fires small and under control.
Gifts / Souvenirs - see Nest 1 for a few practical things, and some Northern Thai souvenirs for sale.
Laundry Service - Cost is 8 Baht per item, with some exceptions ... Socks are 8 Baht per pair. Coat, sweater or jacket price 30 / 40 Baht, depending on size.
Luggage Storage - if needed.
Meeting Facilities - We have hosted meetings at Nest 2 before. If you are interested please let us know your requirements.
Restaurant - restaurant offering fantastic Thai cuisine. (Western breakfast options available but not included in room rate)
Smoking Area - We have a large outdoor area. Please smoke away from other guests, and be aware of the direction your smoke travels.
Taxi Service - We can arrange taxi's to most destinations, given advance notice. There are usually a few options for taxi type too.
Tours - We don't offer many tours these days. Please speak to the staff to find out what is on offer.
Water Dispenser - Free hot and cold water dispenser for guest use.
Wi-Fi in Public Areas - Wi-Fi works well in the restaurant area.

Air Conditioning - All cabins at Nest 2 have AC.
Balcony / Terrace - All cabins have a terrace with outdor seating.
Bathrobes
Coffee / Tea Maker - in 2 Bedroom / Family Deluxe Suites only.
Fan
Hair Dryer - not in the cabins but available to borrow on request.
In Room Safe (Laptop Size) - big enough for most laptops / notebooks, in all cabins.
Wi-fi in Cabins - Most Cabins have reasonable coverage. Please mention when booking if this is important for you.
Mini Bar - in 2 Bedroom / Family Deluxe Suites only.
Mosquito Screens - All windows have these.
Non Smoking Rooms - All cabins are non-smoking
Refrigerator - in 2 Bedroom / Family Deluxe Suites only.
Seating Area - Lounge in 2 Bedroom / Family Deluxe Suites only.
Shower - All cabins have private ensuite toilet / hot shower rooms.
Television - In 2 Bedroom / Family Deluxe Suites only. Has True Knowledge, a basic, mostly English language, satellite TV package.

Complimentary Bottled Water - 2 x bottles of drinking water (please refill for free at the water dispenser)
